Im a male student in later 20s from country vic. Markotich Lawyers helped me from start to finish, when I was taken for interview process I used my right to contact legal representation. The Police called around with no response, untill they looked up and found Markotich Lawyers, after a few dials Natasha responded and the phone was passed over.. I was already impressed considering it was a time most woudlnt answer / later pms. She offered very straight to the point professional helpful advice with a genuine sense of care for my wellbeing, I felt like they coudlnt of contacted anyone better considering her time wasnt payed, at the end of the chat i asked for her contact information as she gave me hope and strength i needed at the time. After the interview process I contacted legal aid which weren't willing to help me unless I detrimented myself/ plead guilty to heavy charges which I wasnt responsible off and would be unjustifiable. Being a low income earner this really effected my Health and Hope in the justice system. I decided after talking to friends and thinking of my future (Batchelor of criminal justice degree) to call around. I didnt contact Markotich first as I felt distance might be a problem and quality usually comes at a price and as said im on a low income. After ringing around local firms I felt even more at jeopardy because confidence, price, respect and genuine care i felt werent present and up to standard in how they spoke to me. As a last hope I contacted Markotich Lawyers see if things would be different and if I was able to afford there respenstation. I was blown away again in a positive way, they reassured my faith.. Price was much fairer.. like 1/3 of everywhere else i was qouted, confidence and professionalism were present and above expectations, my worries ceased and were not issues. I did not hesitate as I had already made that mistake and chose Markotich lawyers to represent me and felt I was in trusted hands and stress was mainly off my shoulders, Natasha clarified with me that she would give it her best, she did not let me down. I payed her to take it to contest mention(where things are concluded) after the phone call and request of representation She commenced work swiftly and let me know everything and anything I needed to do to benefit my standings during the whole process, her communication was great. Again I was surprised as all charges were dropped before contest mention at a prior meeting with prosecution. I think they felt the heat/ pressure and knew she had everything in her arsenal to prove my innocence if it sat before a judge. I didnt have to be present at court physically during any of the process and it was concluded in 1 mention from the time of representation, i had adjourned once beforehand while figuring out what i needed to do. In saying that, what i needed to do was not hesitate in Markotich lawyers and I never will again if I ever need there services, they have my complete loyalty and respect. I have reccomended them to anyone there able to assist, I can not speak highly enough of them. If I didnt make that call my outcome would of been entirely different and I would of most likely fell into the wrong path and lost hope... they are responsible for my freedom. I have now graduated my course and hope to match the standard they set in my own career.. Do not hesitate.. things couldnt of been handeled better.
